Hi everyone, welcome to the first chapter of the new series of “how to speak English fluenty in two years” sponsored by our university aka u perkin. So, today I'm going to write about a place I'd like to visit if I don't die from coronavirus.
In the upcoming years, I would really like to go to the United States, California specifically. Mostly for studying purposes, considering that one of the best programs regarding my specialty is imparted in a local University there.and I would like to do my master or PhD there.
This idea comes from the "fact" that getting a college degree from one of this recognized universities is like an insurance for having a good job in the future (a well paid one, too). Sounds bad but I need some financial stability (ugh).
I hate a lot of things that "America" ​​represents, but they have a lot of research departments and scholarships to apply. Also, there’s very cool and popular places. For example: the golden gate bridge, the Hollywood Sign, the alcatraz island and most important; Disney California Adventure Park, this last one makes everything definitely worth it.

When i was a kid, I wanted to be a soccer player (because I used to love playing so I thought that was a good idea, until I sprained my ankle lol) or a doctor (to being able to save a lot of lives) and in high school, I want to become an engineer or a lawyer but I discovered I hate mathematics and also laws.  After all these completely different options I don’t know how I ended up applying to: sociology, psychology, literature and anthropology. The process of deciding between this four was difficult but the fact that anthropology let me work and study a lot of different topics doing just one degree made me choose it.  My experience at this university until now was good: I have good marks, funny friends, I like subjects and I’m really happy whit the ambient. One of my favorites pieces of technology (excluding my cellphone) are my sport bluetooth earphones, they are like a regular earbud with just one difference: they have a cool strap that connect each other. I don’t remember exactly when I got this wonderful audio device but I bought it at a good price, in a big sale called ”cyber day” and I was really happy because the store discount me almost the half of the original price and give me a case to keep them without any cost. I use them everywhere.  They don’t have the best quality of sound but they have other characteristics that made me like them so much: they are comfortable (even when I’m jogging), resist water and sweat and own a great battery capacity.  My life wouldn’t be so different without them but every time I see people fighting with the wires of their own ordinary earphones I always grateful for having them.

I thought a lot about how to start this blog, but my imagination was not helping me and nothing seemed like I was going to reach write a thing. Yet, last night, when I was talking about my author's block with one of my friends, an amazing idea came to my mind. Actually, He gave that notion to me as a recommendation, but I think our educator doesn't need to know that… maybe this information can be our little secret so, don't tell anyone. Anyways, I realized that I must take this post differently because, even when this is one of the most serious topics of the year, that does not mean I should necessarily create a solemn text. For this reason, I am going to divide my writting in two parts: The postgraduate course I would like to do and the postgraduate course I will be finally taking to develop my studies.
